Kim Chappell began her career as a reporter and anchor, earning two Emmys and a National Edward R. Murrow Award. After a decade in journalism, she transitioned to tech, first as the Head of Communications at Weebly and on the brand and communications team at Square. Today, she serves as Chief Brand Officer at Bobbie, where she has spearheaded award-winning campaigns with Naomi Osaka, Meghan Trainor, Ashley Graham, and Molly Baz to name a few to advocate for issues such as paid leave, postpartum mental health, and to elevate Bobbie mission, purpose, and shared community. Under her leadership, Bobbie has earned top industry accolades for its bold brand strategy and creative campaigns. She oversees a team of 20+ marketers and external agencies.
Outside of work, Kim is a proud mom of three under seven and an active community member, serving on the board of the Elizabeth Ann Seton Fund in Austin to support the NICU center. She lives in Austin, Texas with her family.
